J’ai décidé de travailler autour de la Jesmonite. La Jesmonite a été inventée au Royaume-Uni en 1984 par Peter Hawkins.

Ses caractéristiques premières sont sa mise en forme (ouvrabilité de 20min avant polymérisation), sa résistance à l’eau, matière inerte et non toxique. Tous ses accessoires s’articulent autour d’une patère.

Un ou plusieurs accessoires qui viennent se greffer sur la patère. C’est la multiplicité des éléments qui créent une famille d’objets. En ce qui concerne le processus de mise en oeuvre, on part d’un plan pour créer un peu de volume en cintrant et contraignant la matière.

I decided to work with the Jesmonite. The Jesmonite was invented in the UK in 1984 by Peter Hawkins. His first features are its formatting ( workability 20min before polymerization ), its resistance to water , inert material and nontoxic. All accessories are built around a hook. One or more accessories that are grafted on the hook . This is the multiplicity of elements that create a family of objects. 

The processus starts with a plan to create a little volume by bending and binding the material .
